OLYMPOS / traditional ‘’kafeneio’’

Pioneered the design and branding approach for a traditional Greek ‘kafeneio” reminiscent of the communal cafes where villagers gathered for coffee and late-night drinks. Located at the well known village of Zoniana in Crete island. Drawing inspiration from the rugged beauty of Crete’s wild mountains, , and the history of the place dating back to 1955, we aimed to preserve the essence of the place’s heritage and traditions within the interior design. Despite expanding the space, we’ve maintained a cozy and inviting atmosphere through soft green hues evoking the warmth of hospitality. Natural woods and layered fabrics add texture and depth, inviting visitors to feel at home and embrace the timeless charm of Greek village life.
